Omg I need to try this then. I’m 56 and the front of my hair is thinning badly. I’ll be wearing a wig within a couple years if it doesn’t change. 😢

    • @leon5537 on January 18, 2024 at 11:59 am

Switch to a high quality red meat, eggs, raw cheese and a little bit of fruit diet and watch your body recover. I’m just 23 but I had bad hair loss 2 years ago because of thyroid issues and bad nutrition etc. all my hair came back on this diet

    • @LANGI902 on January 18, 2024 at 12:38 pm

Don’t wear a wig man 😂 Just shave your head. You’re not the only one.

I have a hard time absorbing iron and usually anemic so this could help me. Idk why all this isn’t taught in nursing school, or 30 yrs ago while in school. We need to know this instead of prescription everything!

    • @Pwn3540 on January 18, 2024 at 3:54 am

Because it’s far more profitable to make people deficient and then treat their symptoms

    • @Hilltopperpete on January 18, 2024 at 7:04 am

Vitamin C is essential for iron absorption. It’s why red wine and tomato based sauces (bbq, ketchup, or marinara) pair so well with red meat on your palate. But you need fresh foods rich in Vitamin C to maximize this effect, as the nutrient is easily destroyed in the cooking/freezing/preservation process.

And look into the balance between zinc, copper, and iron.

    Vegans: leave the chat

  8. @dianafoster4936 on January 18, 2024 at 3:43 am

A family member of mine was vegan for Years and had low iron, hair loss, anxiety, depression . She’s now eating chicken and fish and seems to be doing better I’m trying to get her to eat beef and eggs

    • @veehaytch3440 on January 18, 2024 at 6:22 am

You can get leucine as a vegan, red lentils are high in leucine. Being unhealthy is not confined to any specific dietary framework.

    • @saskiad.5734 on January 18, 2024 at 11:25 am

@@veehaytch3440but it is so much less bioavailable from lentils… not to mention that they cause inflammation and for some people severe bloating😮

    • @hhhjhffghbn on January 18, 2024 at 11:42 am

@@veehaytch3440but you will be deficient in zinc….

  9. @Pwn3540 on January 18, 2024 at 3:52 am

I know not all amino acids are recommended for supplementation, but I think glycine was promoted as a safe one to supplement. Is Leucine another one?

  10. @vmdenis3350 on January 18, 2024 at 4:04 am

Eating that, still on the road to being bald. If i cant keep my hair at least i will make my body better

  11. @marysh3840 on January 18, 2024 at 5:33 am

    Perfect

  12. @curly__3 on January 18, 2024 at 5:33 am

I eat tons of meat and eggs, always have, and i lost half my hair…

    • @ericmaclaurin8525 on January 18, 2024 at 12:34 pm

Our bodies don’t break it down as well as we age. Maybe a supplement of Leucine or the HMB it’s broken down to by the body?

    • @Dobroslavveselka on January 18, 2024 at 6:28 pm

I feel you stressin too much over sht

  13. @elihunt9917 on January 18, 2024 at 5:57 am

    You da man!!!

  15. @DailyTeluguVideos on January 18, 2024 at 9:07 am

What about vegans? How do they get leucine.

  16. @user-su7gt8zb1x on January 18, 2024 at 11:19 am

Without leucine, you’d be losin’ your hair! 😊 Thanx Doc Berg!

  17. @ericmaclaurin8525 on January 18, 2024 at 12:31 pm

Taurine is a precursor, and HMB is what we break it down into. I started both at once and thought the Taurine was the amazing one but the HMB turned out to be the big one.

    • @PaulaDumitru-oy2kk on January 18, 2024 at 3:05 pm

      What is HMB??

  18. @GeeeEm61 on January 18, 2024 at 12:57 pm

Leucine is also highly prized for assisting muscle growth, post strength training.

  19. @abhishekkj9664 on January 18, 2024 at 2:21 pm

Is there no source of lusine in vegetarian diet ?

  20. @vedantgholap2375 on January 18, 2024 at 6:45 pm

I am vegetarian. What are the vegetarian sources of leucine?
