I love your videos. I have been cooking some of the foods you have on the videos. Cooking vegan has really helped me to lose weight. In the future, can you make more videos for breakfast and snack foods, please?

    • SweetPotatoSoul on January 7, 2018 at 5:42 am

Thanks so much!! Sure 🙂 In the meantime, check out the other breakfast and snack videos I have here on Youtube too.

Gremolata with carrot tops? Genius! These look like such nutritious and tasty recipes to get one through that rough start part of a new year, when healthier eating can seem like a climb up Everest, but needn’t be : ) TFP, and best wishes for a fantastic 2018 to the Sweet Potato Soul fam!

    • SweetPotatoSoul on January 7, 2018 at 5:39 am

Thank you so much! Happy New Year & best wishes to you too ❤️

I really appreciate that you pointed out that on a budget it’s ok to buy non-organic. It’s awful when people get the impression that healthy eating is all-or-nothing or that a non-organic apple is just as bad as a pop tart. 👍👍

    • SweetPotatoSoul on January 7, 2018 at 6:05 am

      Yes!! We agree 🙂

    • Michelle Deater on January 7, 2018 at 3:10 pm

Not only that but organic food is kind of a crock. It is three times as expensive as regular produce. And the conventional stuff usually looks better as well. Either way the produce has to be washed before eating so there is no real difference between them.

I like supporting local farms and whatnot when I can but I don’t think eating all organic is the best thing ever. It is too pricy for a lot of people and it is just easier when you are on a budget. I just stick to foods that are in season since those are tastiest (though because of where I live there’s less of a boundary on that because it is warm here and some foods are grown year round) and least costly.

    • Shauntel Gill on June 29, 2018 at 2:05 pm

oh yeah they still spray their food with preservatives

    • Darlene DeVegan on August 13, 2019 at 5:44 pm

If you don’t mind eating pesticides, then why get organic?

    • Christopher Williams on August 22, 2019 at 1:10 am

      But pop tarts are vegan!

  6. Loreena MacRae on January 7, 2018 at 2:04 am

I never thought of adding sweet potato to my oatmeal!! It would be so good in maple brown sugar oatmeal

    • Stacy Heath on August 18, 2018 at 2:23 am

Me either! That one blew my mind.

    • Thera Webster on October 1, 2018 at 9:20 am

I am really going to have to start buying them raw!

    • mixed emotions on August 6, 2020 at 7:08 pm

Does it taste good??? I’m so curious because this could really help me go vegan cause I use cows milk and I wanna stop but vegan milk isn’t an option

    • Sheila R on November 9, 2020 at 8:44 am

@mixed emotions Why are vegan milks not an option for you?

  7. Yesenia on January 15, 2018 at 2:38 am

Omg! Yes! You’re my favorite vegan! You make being vegan practical and accessible!! Much love 💕

  8. Larissa K on April 16, 2018 at 5:57 pm
