Castor oil can naturally give your skin a soft, glowing, firm look. It’s the best remedy for wrinkles or dry skin. Castor oil contains ricinoleic acid, a penetrating moisturizer for your skin and hair. It also has powerful anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects.
Many skin-related problems are caused by an overgrowth of bacteria, yeast, or fungus. Castor oil is the perfect antidote—you can even use it for acne.
Castor oil contains vitamin E, which can protect your skin from UV radiation and pollution. It has potent wound-healing properties and can help fade dark spots for an even complexion.
Castor oil contains beta-carotene, the precursor to vitamin A, which supports the skin.
It also contains magnesium and potassium.
Evidence suggests castor oil can help stimulate collagen synthesis, which is vital for anti-aging. Apply castor oil routinely to scars, stretch marks, and acne scars to help them fade.
Many people dilute castor oil with other oils, such as coconut or olive oil, because of its thick and sticky texture. It can also be used as is. Take a couple of drops and rub them into your skin, focusing on dry, wrinkled, reddened, or irritated areas.
Try using castor oil before bed, so it has plenty of time to penetrate the skin. Be careful using castor oil around the pelvic area or abdomen if you’re pregnant, as it can induce labor.
To use castor oil for hair growth, massage it into your scalp. This can help stimulate hair growth, especially if you have alopecia. You can also rub a few drops through your hair before bed.
Look for organic, cold-pressed, hexane-free castor oil for the best quality and the most benefits. Many people have seen positive effects from Jamaican black castor oil.
You can also use castor oil for eyelashes! Apply a small amount of castor oil to the root of your eyelashes daily to strengthen and lengthen your eyelashes.
You don’t have to worry about the toxin in castor oil because it’s eliminated in the manufacturing process.

Thanks for watching! I hope this increases your awareness about castor oil’s uses and benefits. I’ll see you in the next video.
I bought a bottle of cold pressed castor oil two days ago and didn’t know what to do with it , today your videos pops 😀 in front of my eyes ..Im throughoutly pleased 😁
This happens to me so often with his videos. I’ll either be researching something, and he will pop up, or I’ll start taking something new and bam here he is. 😂😂
Add a few drops of coconut oil to castor oil. Rub on eyelids at night for cataracts.
@@fairchild1737 really? Wait is cataracts inside the eye? My daughter and I were both diagnosed with diabetes last year. She is 13 and they said she already has cataracts around or in her eye. My husband had to take her to that appointment so I’m not sure how it’s worded. Does it really work?
Can anyone recommend a trustworthy brand.
Where to buy one from?
The whole time my doctors said do not eat red meat ,egg yolks , fats, coconut oil, and especially Do NOT do fasting they were Wrong my , My triglyceride LDL and other blood work results never been so good because I listen to Dr Berg for 3 years now.
❤❤❤❤💯
They also said take this untested medical intervention to stop you getting a cold
Yeah anyone who says this who also encourages you to take a little pill every day while in a lab coat you have to be wary of lol. They are sadly bonified drug reps. Go to the hospital doctor to use their ability to use blood work and scans to see what’s going on and then decide how yorue going to take care of yourself after that doing research. And of course in an emergency western medicine is the place to go.
Do the opposite of what the government says and you will do your best to !!! God has given us what we needed on this earth!
Blessings
Dr. Berg helps a lot around the world. This is what doctors should be
Every since I found his first video I recommend him to everyone
Yep
I am Haitian and all Haitians have a bottle of castor oil at home. It is a remedy for a multitude of ailments and it helps to grow long and healthy hair. When I was a child and was suffering from a bad cold with a fever, my mother would rub my whole body with black castor oil before going to bed. The next morning, the fever would be gone, the cough would loosen and moreover, my skin would look beautiful! I also remarked that the castor oil helped to remove dirt from my skin as I showered. We even use castor oil with sour oranges as a detox administered orally. Castor oil is called Palma Christi oil as the leaves of the plant look like the palm of Christ. It is interesting to observe that other cultures are now discovering the properties of castor oil.
I LIVE IN THE SOUTH ALL MY LIFE AND WE USED CASTOR OIL FOR EVERYTHING.
Did she use a carrier oil or just castor oil by itself? Thank you!
Castor oil is sticky, did she mix it with something like coconut oil?
I Hatian also. And yes, we use it the same way. And warning to all it’s messy and has an earthy smell. We don’t dilute it. However, the smell is not unbearable. My mom also put it on our scalp to stimulate hair growth.
@@farmerz97 Would you recommend any specific kind of castor oil from your experience?
Castor oil is amazing!! I was diagnosed with Calcific tendonitis in my right shoulder last June. It was so bad that my shoulder completely froze. Unfortunately I had to get a cortisone shot from the orthopedic specialist in order to do physical therapy. I refused any pain pills because I do not like them. I work out 4-5 times a week. I like to keep my shoulder loose. Once in a while it’ll flare up with a bit of pain especially when it’s damp outside. I put Castor oil on my shoulder and then my red light therapy for 15 minutes. I told the specialist I was doing this because I also heard that castor oil can also break up calcium deposits. He agreed with me and said to continue what I was doing. Castor oil is amazing for so many different things!
Red light therapy is amazing
It’s that a hand held unit? Brand name would be great to know. So many on the market….
What red light therapy do you use. I have been looking to get one.
I’ve had that! Excruciating pain!
With red light therapy, is it with or without castor oil on your body? I’ve read do’s and don’ts about having products on skin with red light therapy…
I’m beginning to use castor oil, and I want to ensure I benefit from red light therapy
I’ve been using castor oil on my face for over 9 months. It erased all of the lines around my mouth. I mix it with vitamin E cream and put it on my whole body. Changed my 63 yr old skin totally!!
Which vit E cream do you use? Thank you.
@PoetiqueMs I buy one from Agency that I really like. Just check your ingredients. 😊
What type of castor oil do u use
SAME.🎉
@@Conny226 pretty much any that are hexane free, cold pressed, comes in a dark glass bottle. The one I have recently purchased is from Amazon I think it’s called heritage. It is much thicker than the one I bought previously but not horribly so and another benefit of this one is it has practically no scent. The other one, that I can’t remember the name of, was only a small bottle so I could trial castor oil, had a pretty strong scent. It was an almost nutty scent and it was an organic scent but it took me a bit of time to get used it. So I was happy to find this one is virtually scent free.
I used castor oil on my dog’s large, wart-like growth on his shoulder. I applied it every day with a swab for 2 weeks. It turned black, dried up and fell off. This saved my dog and my wallet $1,100 to avoid surgery to remove the growth. It hasn’t come back in nearly 4 years.
It’s so good use it in my dogs eyes everyday to help her cataracts they are getting better
I also used it on my dogs “hot spots,” and it really does work.
I have been trying to research if castor oil is toxic for dogs to ingest but every thing I read is contradictory to the others.
I have used it successfully on a burst cyst on her shoulder where she could not lick it and now I want to try it on her feet where she has a couple of friction sores from the joint on the other toe rubbing against it but obviously she can lick her feet 😂
Do you know of any definitive evidence about dogs ingesting it?
🐶…yay, doggy. ♥️👏
@@nataliemarshall7158i mix Jamaican black castor oil with vitamin e oil and virgin coconut oil and rub it onto my dogs lower back and sides a few nights a week. She always licks it and is fine. They can ingest it according to internet and myself testing it on my chihuahua for many months.
I put a little on a q-tip, then applied it on my eyebrows b4 bed, and got my eyebrows back. 👍🤗❤
How long does it take to see some improvement? My eyebrows have become sparse over the years, would love to see some new growth there.
I have used castor oil on my eyebrows for months and nothing has grown back. The oil just made mine a little fuller.
I have hashimoto’s and lost half of my eyebrows. I will try this.
I have been using it for a little over a month. My eyebrows are blond . I had to color them in. Now I can actually see color. So, new hair growth?@Cave_Monster
@@cancermoonchildf3000 At 41 I started losing my eyebrows due to hashimoto’s. At 80 I learned to put castor oil on my eyebrows. It took 6 weeks to start to come in. Now 81 I actually have to groom my eyebrows because more strands are growing in! I look younger and healthier just because I have eyebrows again.
“De Palma de Christi” the hand of Christ. This is the most healing substance I’ve encountered over 6 decades.
What is it? I’ve never heard of this.
@@RachelLWolfeIt’s just another name for Castor Oil.
@RachelLWolfe it’s caster oil
Thank you so much Dr. Berg.
I bought it a few months ago, and put it on my face almost every night. It is just amazing!
🙏🇬🇧
I’m 74 and have using castor oil for several years. Everyone tells me how young I look and that I had great skin. The oil must be working!
@@angelablowers2792 👏👏Thats wonderful!
Please tell me do you using castor oil alone for face, or mixed with some another oil?
@ I use castor oil straight at night before bed on my face and hands. In the morning I use almond oil instead of moisturizer since it’s a lighter oil.
It really works and would work even better by applyjng a few drops of good quality frankincense oil to it.
Your face is beautiful, despite your age you look much younger❤
I’ve been slathering and massaging high quality castor oil on my face and eyebrows and lashes and arms for about 6 months. 70 female with some deep wrinkles on cheeks and receding hairline at temples. So far, no dramatic improvement but I think a tiny bit of improvement in cheeks and liver spots, still no lashes or eyebrows. I’m sure at my age it will take more time so I’m being patient. And younger people should start a regimen of prevention rather than old lady restoration, lol
Yep. I’m in my 50s and I haven’t seen any results on myself or others proving the hysteria over the benefits are warranted. I think people are willing themselves to see results.
You’re not an old lady!!!
I’m 73 and never ever say that to myself. We are just recycled teenagers as my 98 year old Mother always said.😂
I’ve been using castor oil also but was not always on schedule with it, getting better and I do think I see a change, more on the way my shin looks but the wrinkles are diminishing at a snails pace. I think you’re right about it responding faster to younger skin. I use at night before bed to give it time to soak in and first thing in the morning also. It would be great to turn the clock back a few years. I have found that patting your face with your hands like a light slap 30 seconds at least on each area helps to plump my skin, I also pat gently under the eyes, guess it helps wake up collagen. I’ve patted the bottom of my chin are for years, saw it on an old movie, my daughter always comments how good it looks, no sagging.
Good luck!
It regrew hair in my eyebrow
@ hope it starts working for me.
I’m 65 and have been using it for four months and my eyelashes have definitely grown. And my skin stays hydrated. I could never keep my skin hydrated before no matter how much lotions I used.
I recommend to choose castor oil sold in dark glass bottles as opposed to plastic ones. Castor oil is very potent and its chemical compounds do interact with the plastic which tend to seep into the oil. In fact, all natural products should be stored in glass bottles and jars…Thought I’d bring this up to spread awareness ❤
Thank you for sharing🙏
Excellent advice
Thank you for sharing
Now that my Dear Dr. Berg has said it’s absolutely true and I’ll use it on my dry skin especially my scalp. This man is a Godsend❤
Glass and first press organic.
I was born at the place where we were eating seasonal food, a lot of greens and grilled meat. Turmeric was added to almost everything. My grandmother, my mother and I since I remember myself used castor oil for the face and other purposes. It exciting to see what were used for centuries and was replaced by chemicals are coming back.
I have used castor oil on my face for 2 years now. My eyelashes have grown out more and have thickened. It has also helped with any wrinkles. I’m 57.
I rarely write comments but I want to say that since 2 months I have started using castor oil mixed with sesame oil instead of moisturizer and I had seen drastically change, I use to have extremely dry skin specially during winter but now I can just wash my face with soap and leave my face as it is and it still feels moisturized.
I started using castor oil because my grandmother use to massage herself with it. although see passed away but even in her last few days her legs use to look like she is in her 20s( she might sometimes forgot to massage her body but she never forgot to massage her legs)
This doctor needs to be cloned and put into every medical school to re-educate doctors with correct information about health. He is brilliant, and a gem of a person to anyone with common sense about how to improve their health in a sustained way. I just love learning from his simple to understand videos.. I respect this man immensely. 👏👏👏
Totally 😅
No, more doctors need to wake up and learn! They can definitely learn from Dr. Berg, he has the research in the notes for us to read.
Yes clone him!!!
My hubby is a UCLA med school grad and guess what, med schools don’t teach nutrition. I think he told me that he took 1 quarter (that means “10 weeks worth” in a university) of nutrition class. Big Pharm doesn’t want YOU to be treated with nutrition when you can be fixed with meds
Complètement d’accord avec vous
I grew up with castor oil and am so glad to see the info is mainstream. More people need to know about these remedies and not be slaves to the ignorance and greed of the American “health”care system.
The corporate health care model has been exported to other countries chains of clinics have taken over the health care profession.
WELL SAID ❤❤❤
I started using caster oil just 3 months ago. Bought to remove wrinkles but then put it on my skin tags, arthritic aches, bruises, bunions, sore neck and knees, etc. Wow…I know wake up in am and no aches. I remembered my grand mother used it but my mom thought she was a witch so I wasn’t allowed to use…this was from a woman who used onion slices in our dad’s socks at night to break a fever, hahaha!
very good DETOX – “a woman who used onion slices in our dad’s socks at night to break…”
Wait so this stuff helps removes skin tags? How long does that take roughly?
@@MathewBT81 a month or two
Did it help your bunions?
Onion slices. Love it
My grandma been using castor oil since forever and she live until she was 97 ❤❤❤❤
How she utilised it?
@hurraza8492 she would mainly drink put it in her hair grease
@@QuinadaKay alone or with milk?
@hurraza8492 alone should take like a teaspoon pour the Castor oil then drink it down
@@QuinadaKayi heard consuming castor oil gives you diarrhea.
I am a lady who is 78. I read through all the comments and what I noticed is that we, in general, tend to expect too much from products. I’ve been using it on my face and different body parts for 6 months. I am seeing improvements. My face is more hydrated, the wrinkles are less pronounced, I have a more youthful glow, my eyelashes have grown some. People are always shocked when they I tell them my age, and it’s not just about using castor oil, it’s also about eating healthy, having a positive attitude, smiling and laughing, having inner peace and just living a joyous, peaceful life. We can all do that!
PS: I also have used castor oil every night on my feet. I had a large bone spur on one foot. It was large and hurt inside most shoes. Ater using the oil for 6 months, that bone spur is much smaller and way less painful (my bunions have also improved). ☺️ I did buy a castor oil foot pack to wear at night to help the oil to penetrarte.
Thank you Dr Berg ~ you are the best!
Hello, could you please tell us what brand of castor oil are you using !
did it ever went into your eyes as you rub it in your face?
Hi! Do you I’d it with vitamin E cream?
Hope, there is truth in what you’ve said🙂
Did you need to mix it with other oils like olive oil for your body?
I have no problem using it on my hairline and face.
But is it easy to use on the whole body?!!
