Castor oil has been used for over 4,000 years! It’s been found in ancient Egyptian tombs and in Chinese and Indian medicine.

When shopping, look for an organic, cold-pressed, hexane-free castor oil packaged in a dark bottle.

Castor oil contains ricinoleic acid, which is not found in any other plant. It can help eliminate dark spots and wrinkles and is very hydrating for your skin. It can penetrate all three layers of your skin and can even dissolve lumps in some cases.

Castor oil benefits are best seen with consistent use. To see results, use castor oil three times per week for at least 30 days to 6 weeks.

Potential health benefits of castor oil include the following:
•Increases growth and thickness of eyelashes and brows
•Removes skin tags and warts with the help of iodine and garlic
•Boosts the immune system
•Helps dissolve tartar
•Reduces pain from arthritis
•Reduces liver congestion and increases bile flow

Castor oil penetrates the skin, so you can use castor oil packs on the ovaries or breasts to help address cysts. DMSO can help castor oil penetrate the skin more deeply. Magnesium oil is also a helpful addition to castor oil.

Try dipping your face in an ice bath before applying castor oil. A 48 to 72-hour fast replaces dead cells with new cells and can have a multi-layer effect on your skin. A healthy diet is also essential!

Castor oil can improve stretch marks and scars and boost hair growth. Massage castor oil into your scalp to reduce dandruff and dry scalp. Jamaican black castor oil is the best option for your hair and scalp.

Massage castor oil into your feet to address inflammation systemically and use topically to reduce pain. Castor oil can cause early contractions during pregnancy, so use with caution.

Wow, what a coincidence. I’ve been watching videos about castor oil since yesterday, still haven’t gone to bed yet 😊. I actually have castor oil on my face right now.

I love Castor oil. There are more ways I van learn to use it. Bought it because I came over it online. Had a tatoo that itched for 13 years and no big pharma helped. Scratched so the skin was gone.
So I tried Castor. 4-5 days with this. Itching s gone. Have been for months. So I love it.

      Good tip

    • @greenthumbsup7321 on June 22, 2025 at 2:23 pm

I would avoid doing that. What Eric failed to mention is that castor oil acts as a powerful carrier and can pull other things like chemicals from your makeup deep into your skin. This could be quite harmful instead of healthy for you.

I’d use a gentler oil like coconut first to remove your product and then after your face is clean use the castor oil. This action castor oil has of taking things along with it deeper into your tissues, can be used for your benefit. Putting a few drops of lavender or frankincense oil with the castor
will strengthen and expand the healing properties.

It’s also the reason to avoid using castor oil that comes in plastic bottles, as it can react with the plastic, and those petrol chemicals end up getting absorbed into your body.

    • @BSRivers-hh5op on June 22, 2025 at 4:16 pm

I double cleanse and use jojoba oil to remove makeup (and sunscreen). I use castor oil as my moisturizer instead.

I’ve been using castor oil on my face and hair before I get i the shower. No shampoo. I went to get my haircut the other day and the barber asked what I did with my hair because it was so soft. I also asked if he saw any dandruff because I’ve had it my whole life. He said he didn’t see any dandruff at all. Castor oil is awesome

    • @andreabryant9979 on June 22, 2025 at 1:20 pm

You put castor oil on your hair before you take a shower?
It rinses out with no shampoo?

    • @kcwkembm on June 22, 2025 at 2:37 pm

Yep just a little bit. Every 3 days or so. Rub it in good. I spend a good 3 min scrubbing my hair in the shower. Then when drying off also scrub pretty good with towel. Alot of times if it looked oily I’d just rub it more with a towel. I also have short hair. I notice when it starts getting long it looks more oily. I got the idea reading about the Greeks covering their body in olive oil before bathing

    • @kcwkembm on June 22, 2025 at 2:42 pm

Also I think we have the wrong idea that there should be no oil in our hair. My hair looks way better when I do this. Its like a natural hair gel. When I use shampoo my hair just looks flat and dull.

I’ve been a mailman for 20 years and started getting shoulder pain for the last 5 years. I started using Jamaican black castor oil about 4 months ago on my right shoulder and within 1 week the pain after 5 years was gone. I was shocked and told my wife who’s a nurse and didn’t believe me at first to try it herself on her shoulder pain and it worked right away. I still use it every night and the pain never came back.

In south india we had an amazing tradition of taking a large spoon of castor oil on empty stomach monthly once to clean the bowels. Nowadays no one does it and when the grandparents suggest them we don’t even listen to them. Also every Sunday the wives would rub castor oil on their husbands body and massage them before their hot water bath (you may ask what about the wife but as you know we use to be a very patriarchal society 👎🏻)

    • @kajamoiddeen on June 22, 2025 at 2:22 pm

Oh and also every toddler goes through a tradition of getting a special bath from their grandmother where she massages the baby with castor oil/gingelly oil (another equally or if not more beneficial oil) quite vigorously and bathes the child in warm water
We even make memes and stuff about grannys and their bone twisting bath 😅😅

When he has pain anywhere on his body i just apply the oil on that area. Also helps clear age spots that is as thick like a black bean, and removed darken skin near ankle.

I mix it with baking soda and use it as deodorant – am allergic to regular deodorants – I use about 1/4 baking soda to 3/4 castor oil, but you may need to experiment with the ratio to find what works for you. I put a small amount on after a shower every night so most of it is absorbed by the morning – less chance of staining underarms of shirts that way
