I started having heart problems in my late 20’s and I had open heart surgery at 34 ten years later another open heart surgery. Small stroke from high blood pressure,arthritis in my spine and others health problems. 4 years ago I found Dr.berg I was in size 54 jeans and now I am in 30 jeans. Please explain exactly what intermittent fasting is & how do I get started. As I am not 100% sure I understand it& am seriously considering it
This works I never though I’d lose my belly pouch and I was amazed firm believer in fasting please everyone try it!!
Daily : 4 cups electrolytes water and 4 cups homemade almond milk (1 tablespoon no sugar almond butter in water) I do this for 2 days
Then switch to one low carb meal a day for 12 days

What is the protocol for “Intermittent fasting”???
The most popular is a 8/16 protocol..Do all your eating in an 8 hour window & fast for 16..Drink a TON of water!
The hardest part is fighting through false hunger pains..It is also important to EAT ENOUGH!
Sounds crazy but following a Classic Carnivore(Red meat,eggs,bacon,butter,high fat dairy & real salt) or strict carnivore means eating until you feel full,NOT limiting calories..

I have been one large meal of meat, sometimes eggs and cheese once a day and in 6 weeks have lost 2 pants sizes around my waist. This great doctors advice really works & his advice is free.

Intermittent fasting / OMAD for nigh on 15 years now. I’ve been STRICTLY OMAD since around November 2023. Not a single day with food at a time that was not 7pm. Fasting is a lifestyle. Once you adjust and adapt to it, it becomes second nature. It’s almost like refueling your car. You do it when you need to (once a day, dinner time) and then you forget about it until the next feed time. It’s so EASY!
Bloating was the worst thing. It bothered me so much. IF plus healthy Keto solved it for me. Thank you, Dr. Berg.

I noticed that after 6 months of keto No sugar, carbs and checking ingredients in food, vitamins and drinks my skin and memory improved like never before 💕 doing fasting and I really appreciate Dr Berg and Dr Ekberg ….my arthritis keep me in the house all the time
