History repeats itself…

Unfortunately very few know history enough to realize that large corporations have brought you many scams in the way of health that have been backed by the government. They continue to even today.

Look at disease statistics and you quickly realize that things have gotten worse, not better.

Interestingly, we don’t use bad / fake fats in my house. When my wife and I estimated our butter usage, it was about 17 pounds per person per year. So we are pretty close to eating the amount they did in the 1900.

In my house we use a lot of coconut oil, avocado oil, and olive oil as well to fill in for that one pound of butter we are missing to meet our quota. 😂

    It also alleviates the effects of solanine in many nightshade fruits and vegetables. The joint and sciatic pains I had are gone after eating more carefully, and having about a quarter of a pat of butter when pains occasionally flare up after eating a potato or ground cherry. Sweet potatoes and tree cherries are fine because they don’t have solanine. After 3 years in a wheelchair due to severe joint pain, a nutritionist got me back on my feet when no doctor could!

      @@chasmcd4123 I always hear dairy is inflammatory to the body. It’s always conflicting info on dairy.

    Ancil Keys needs to be mentioned and how the number of heart attacks increased significantly after this guy made up so many studies to say saturated fat is unhealthy (1960)

    I love butter. I use it everytime i cook eggs and meat and with any food that makes sense like sourdough bread, tortillas, etc. I don’t use “healthy” oils anymore.
