Book is ordered! You are ADDICTIVE! I’m a 72 yr old Gramma with a 16 yr old vegan granddaughter! I can do this and cook deliciously for her! I’m excited! Oh! Just bought a spiralizer because I LOVE “pasta!” (Zucchini)

🐷 litterally eat everything and anything. Including dead corpses: it’s also about the function of the animals. Happy vegan! 🥭✨🍓

    • Look Upwards on October 14, 2021 at 11:24 am

      Hi there,

I indeed would recommend working towards eliminating animal protein out of one’s diet as it is, from gathered information, the cause of nearly all diseases e.g processed meats are classified as carcinogenic to humans in Group 1, which is as bad as it can get, where as plant foods are classified as anti-cancer foods.

I encourage opting for a well-planned, organic, unrefined and untempered with vegan diet (consuming raw plant foods where possible so as not to denature or destroy the life-forces and enzymatic activities beneficial to the human system. If disagreeing on this matter, please take some steamed carrots, plant them and see if they will grow; if not, it is because they are ‘dead’ plant food that cannot benefit one’s ‘living’ cells) consisting of organic fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds and whole grains as it is the best diet to provide mankind with ultimate health and longevity. I do not even see a reason to use pharmaceutical supplements e.g Vitamin D is obtainable from organic chestnut mushrooms (UV exposed) and sun-dried mushrooms with the exception of the body’s ability to make it (and store it for future use) when exposed to the sun; Iron from organic beets; Zinc from organic cashew nuts; potassium and magnesium from organic bananas; Omega 3 Fatty Acids (beneficial for the brain) from organic walnuts and pecans (looks like the brain and targets it).

Please avoid factory produced meat alternatives whose chief ingredient can be ‘soy’ and may contain preservatives as well as additives (e.g Vinegar, a corrosive agent). Food toxicity and nutrient deficiency (e.g white bread, white rice and white sugar) are a deadly combination as one is hindering the body’s building materials needed to action healing whilst at the same time taxing the system with more toxic stuff, thus bringing about disease and possibly even an early death.

      Best wishes
      💙💙💙

@Erica M. Cross are you still vegan?

  4. Victoria Eiselstein on December 4, 2019 at 4:53 pm

This is so helpful!! I’ve been wanting to transition into eating vegan and your video really breaks it down and makes it feel doable. Thank you!!

  5. Lori Wilson on December 7, 2019 at 10:27 am

My wife and I are currently transitioning to a plant-based diet. I’m watching a ton of videos, and looking for recipes. Like you, I’m southern and grew up eating a diet based heavily on meats, especially fried meats. I’ve always been a bacon and eggs in the morning kind of person. I’m nearly a week in now and I must say I can feel the waist getting slimmer and I do have more energy. But most of all, I feel more emotionally balanced.

Thank you for this video. Your enthusiasm is absolutely contagious!!

  6. Scratch Rabbit on December 10, 2019 at 3:13 am

It’s almost 2020 and I’m gonna go vegan. I’m 13 btw. Going vegan would really help my weight, acne, and attitude. I’ve always wanted to go vegan. This video was really helpful and I love how she got straight to the point 🙂

  7. Sadia Revealed on December 15, 2019 at 12:52 pm

My first week vegan 🥰 I’ve found that limiting TV time is a mandatory necessity.. bcuz the advertisement and commercialism of unhealthy food is Real..

    • Beth Catt on February 3, 2021 at 12:33 pm

The ads that picture meat you can just see all the grease on them, who wants to be eating all that greasy food

    • Kristian Fagerbakk on February 7, 2021 at 10:55 pm

Thank you for this tip, never gave that much thought🙏

    • Alina Schmidt on May 13, 2021 at 12:08 pm

I sometimes find it funny or ironic when I watch vegan themed youtube videos and there are ads for clearly non vegan foods. For me personally it‘s not a big problem, just annoying, because to me the vegan food in the video looks and tastes better anyway. It shows me that the algorithm at least doesn‘t know everything (yet…)

    • Alina Schmidt on May 13, 2021 at 12:10 pm

Maybe it helps to remember that for many foods – I mostly think of fast-food burgers – do look very different in reality compared to the advertisements.

  8. Daffney Verna on December 17, 2019 at 2:50 am

You are a huge inspiration to my 11yr old daughter, Joy. She is a twin and no one else in the family is vegan. She has been vegan since August and is doing a great job staying motivated and on track. Non of the non vegan foods we have at home has ever tempted her. She is the one who got me to start watching your videos. Thank you so much for being a great role model and keep up the great work.

    • sunra9 on June 4, 2021 at 6:25 am

@SG you need to educate yourself. There’s tons of ppl being super healthy and healthier at their 90s that any meat eater. It’s the opposite of what u think actually, eating meat is dangerous we aren’t made to eat meat

  16. Yana Voynova on August 5, 2020 at 2:58 pm

This video made me very emotional for some reason. She is gorgeous and there’s something in her voice and how she explains that makes this so easy to comprehend. I’ve been thinking about going vegan for a couple of years but never went through with it.. I guess now is the time :))

  17. Lana kranz on March 17, 2021 at 11:58 pm

My meal plan tip if you are changing your whole lifestyle is not just to make a meal in bulk but rather bulk prep ingredients so they can be changed up… And learn at least 5 meals and learn them well so if you feel a bit off- you can default to a meal you know you enjoy. And with your ingredients ready to go you can throw it all together and avoid take out.

  18. Sa'Mara Roberts on November 22, 2021 at 5:18 am

I’m going vegan. Starting my transition in January 2022, just educating myself and preparing myself mentally. I’ve desired for a few years now to become vegan ❤️

I remember this! I wasn’t vegan when I first found your channel but I am now and you were one of the first people to inspire me. The first vegan recipe I EVER made on purpose was your sweet potato biscuits. Thank you, you are changing lives! 🍠🍠🍠
