@Jorge García Don’t be ridiculous, the world is mainly geared for men, so jog on.

@Noolie62 Believe me… the grass is not greener on the other side 🙁

Hola soy de México! Cuando ví tu vídeo de transformación me inspiraste muchísimo, sobre todo porque ahora sé que no necesito ir a un gimnasio. Gracias, me das muchas ideas

  5. AlexandraL on March 22, 2020 at 4:26 pm

Quarantine got me really sloppy and I’ve been looking for some motivation to move my body. I’m really fascinated by calisthenics but also scared cause I’m no where near that strong or flexible or determined. But I just did this workout and I will do it again tomorrow. So thank you so much!!!

    • AlexandraL on March 23, 2020 at 5:05 pm

I guess I’m going to use this to hold myself accountable. I’m really proud that I did this workout on day 2! Feeling sore around the shoulder area and definitely finding it challenging.

    • ramsgrl909 on March 30, 2020 at 5:09 pm

@AlexandraL do your best everyday and you’ll slowly improve!

    • AlexandraL on March 30, 2020 at 6:45 pm

Didn’t update, but I have been doing this workout every day since my first comment. Feeling proud. I think in the next days I’m going to try to add maybe another beginner workout that you posted. Thanks for the inspiration

    • chowlongqueer on July 14, 2020 at 2:48 am

      hows ur progress

    • Bandana Sharma on October 30, 2020 at 4:48 am

just remember to add some extra protein to your diet maybe close to the workouts.. and you have to rest more when you exercise more. the exercise breaks up the muslce fiber and it only builds back in proper rest periods.

  6. Malin Tveit on March 28, 2020 at 9:32 am

This is the first workout I’ve ever felt is very challenging, yet doable! I’m doing most of the easier versions you show, but it will only get better from here. The best part is that it’s only 20 minutes, so there’s really no excuses to skip a session. Thank you so much, Lucy!

  7. Z E on March 29, 2020 at 12:35 pm

Great challenge! Please mention when you change from one exercise to another. Cannot always keep an eye on the phone so it is hard to tell when u stop doing 1 exercise and move on to another. Even if there is just a beep between exercises to alert us. Thank you 🥰♥️

  8. Rainbowfish118 on April 6, 2020 at 2:26 pm

Please do more callisthenics work outs for women— I find HIIT really difficult but can do callisthenics somehow so more of that would be cool xxx

    • Elizabeth C on May 13, 2020 at 10:59 pm

You could do all of these same moves in a HIIT fashion. HIIT just refers to the way you actually execute your workout, not the specific moves.

  9. P C on April 7, 2020 at 2:25 pm

Finally a beginner’s workout which is meant for beginner’s. Thank you so much for this. Please give us some more of these..😚

    • Lara del pin on May 2, 2020 at 5:35 pm

priyanka chodankar yea! Totally agree…often they say it is for beginners and when you try almost all exercises are very difficult of for people already very fit 😒

    • Priscila Fernandes on August 23, 2020 at 11:31 am

Yes, total agree! Nice beginner’s workout! Thank you!!🤸‍♀️

Oh wow, just did this for the first time. That’s quite a workout! Thanks for making this public. If my legs still work tomorrow I am going to do it all again 🙂

  11. Maliha Mahjabin on April 27, 2020 at 11:48 pm

You introduced me to Calisthenics and I think it is SO COOL. Gonna start your beginner workouts. I have zero strength as of now and an obese but I hope I progress gradually.
    Thank you for this channel!

      Go you!!

  12. Inola S. on May 19, 2020 at 1:35 pm

This is like a perfect beginner workout. I’m completely unfit and normally have to make a few breaks within a workout but this time I’ve been able to make it till the very end but it was still demanding

  13. lifestyle journal on June 11, 2020 at 1:30 pm

Thank you so much for this! I have to admit that, at first, I was a little intimidated by this routine, and for a couple of months, I actually just did the warm-up on repeat until I built up some stamina, flexibility and strength (and confidence). I hadn’t done any kind of consistent exercise for years, and at 29yrs, 160 cm, and 85 kg, I was wildly out of shape (still am but finally doing something about it!). I was really unhappy with my level of fitness and the way I looked, and even if I wanted to get moving and exercising, I was finding a lot of the videos out there extremely intimidating. Your channel, and particularly this video, has been one of the best ones when it comes to just starting out. Today was the first time I ran through this entire video, following along with you, and finding it surprisingly less difficult than I was expecting, but still getting a really good workout for someone at my level. I’ve been at this for two and a half months now, changing my lifestyle completely by making sure I get enough sleep, eating well, and exercising. In that time I’ve lost 6 kg and feel so much better than I have in a very long time; I actually can’t remember the last time I was under 80 kg. A lot of that is due to how inspiring you are and how inspiring and motivating your own weight-loss journey is. So I just really wanted to thank you for everything you are doing and to let you know that you are part of changing my life for the better.

(Also, if I might make a suggestion? Would it be at all possible to insert a timer or a bell or some kind of countdown for the different reps? I found that when I had to look away from the video, I lost track of time and ended up rushing from one exercise to the next. Just a suggestion, though!)

  14. YQuienDijo on July 1, 2020 at 5:35 pm

Just passing by to let you know that I have been doing this routine por the past 2 months, after years of no exercise at all… Im still doing the easy modifications you show, but it has gotten better every week. This, with zumba classes and a clean diet I have lost 20lbs so far… I still have a long way to go, but Im in love with calisthenics, so Thank youuuu!!!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

    • michelle on May 7, 2021 at 2:25 pm

      thats awesome !! go you ! :))

    • DJUniMekaju on August 9, 2021 at 1:19 pm

You go! This is very motivating. Thank you.

    • Julianne Robinson on August 16, 2021 at 4:38 am

Hell yeah! Congrats on your progress and motivation!

    • YQuienDijo on February 3, 2022 at 12:49 pm

Just wanted to give you an update, Ive now lost a total of 50lbs, After struggling with my weight since I was 15 years old (im 52👵🏼) I realized I had an addiction to sugar (refined carbs) so once I took that of my diet, my “crazy 24 hour hungry monster” left my body, I eat greens, fruits, proteins and fats (as much as I want, no limits) and I’ve kept the weight off. So just eliminate the junk, the sugar…
I still do this routine of calisthenics and Zumba because they are simple and uncomplicated, basically my antidepressant 😂

    • MY FREE LIFE on June 28, 2022 at 6:14 pm

      Great job and good luck🤍

  15. killiansirishbeer on August 21, 2020 at 5:57 pm

Just discovered your channel and I love it ! I have knee problems and I have to do exercises to strengthen my muscles. I have four basic exercises to do, but they get so boring after a while, yet doing your workout is fun and easy to follow. Also your other videos with more difficult but cool moves (calisthenics skills) have given me a goal to work towards. Thank you very much 😘

    • Lucy Lismore on August 21, 2020 at 7:48 pm

Aww thank you so much! I’m so happy that your enjoying the workouts. I can’t wait to see you master those moves!! 🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️ xxx

  16. Relaxation Xscape on September 30, 2020 at 1:24 am

Ok thx for actually making this beginner friendly and not busting into a full handstand

    • Mary Jane Hansen on November 21, 2020 at 9:26 am

so starting… get into an easy handstand and start doing fUCKING PUSHUPS FROM THERE…

    • ονειρο on October 14, 2021 at 9:38 am

    • Mary Jane Hansen on October 21, 2021 at 2:50 am

Thank you so much for not getting aggressively cheerful and actually making a routine that a beginner wouldn’t get defeated by. This is the first time I’ve looked forward to my morning exercise and I will be doing this one for a while until I can level up. Thank you!!!

  18. Dana Price on April 16, 2021 at 1:54 pm

Suddenly got the desire to check out calisthenics a couple days ago, found you yesterday, did this video for the first time today. What a great workout! I’ve done some simple yoga, but still consider myself a beginner. At age 56, I need to start building strength. I look forward to continuing to see where it might take me. Thanks for the videos!

  19. Rebekah Rose on May 1, 2021 at 11:06 am

I literally cried because of how difficult I found this BEGINNER workout 😭 but I guess that just shows how much I need to be doing it! Just need to stick with it 🙏

    • Chelle on September 7, 2021 at 2:00 pm

I can relate. I actually hurt myself a few times. My goodness. However, I am not going to give up.

    • Kierstyn :p on January 28, 2022 at 7:25 pm

      YOU GOT THIS!!!

  20. Christina's Space 78 on April 19, 2022 at 10:50 pm

I started 3 weeks ago. 5 days a week. This is changing my life Lucy! I could honestly spend 45 minutes doing cardio at the gym and then hit the weights for another hour straight and still not feel the effects I get off of a 21 minute video. Loving it! Thank you! I’m taking pictures of progress and I will share when I reach my goal weight. 👍
