Yes you can but it’ll be hard you can’t give up

Do you have a specific video where you explain how you achieved your first pull up? I am in the exact same place at this moment namely 😅😂

    • @lucylismore on October 25, 2023 at 10:19 pm

You know, I’m not sure that I do?! I’ve definitely spoke about it but not done a dedicated video on it. The ones with the most detail are the calisthenics transformation videos! You’ll get there if you keep chipping away and progressively overloading 🤩🫶🏻. It can take an excruciatingly long time! Xx

I am 85 kg now. Need to lose 30 kg and I hate myself. Cant even go for a normal walk without being breathless and my muscles aching and joints squeaking. I am 33 and really want to change my life like you have. Where do I start?

    • @Joyride37 on October 28, 2023 at 6:19 pm

Can you put both arms on a wall and push? On a counter? Or lower on a chair? Start there. Do 1. Or aim for 10. Do it until you feel like you can’t anymore. Rest for a day. Trying again then next. If you need for specifics, 2-3 sets of 5-10 is a common plan and a tangible goal. But if it’s too overwhelming, just focus on doing what you can and increasing by one rep every time you do it again later. Eventually you’ll do them on the floor, eventually you’ll do them while clapping into between

Do as many air squats that you can in the same way, doesn’t matter the height or how low you get. That will increase in time.

Find the exercises that look interesting or fun to you. I like just holding a kettlebell and moving it around my torso, or just standing and holding as long as possible while I’m doing something else.

It’s all about using the muscles you have consistently over a long period of time.

Even though you feel breathless while walking now, you should still walk. Walk 30 min to an hour every day. Slow and steady progress is the way

The easiest way to start. Just Walk …. Every day. As far AS you can … Set Goals. 45min or 1 h. Eat healthy. An Drink water. 2 – 3 l.

I suggest walking in a swimming pool. There is enough resistance from the water. There is buoyancy that would help the joints. Do squats that is realistic for you. Sitting down on a chair and getting up from a chair. There is also suitcase deadlift using a kettlebell. These movements mimics what you would do on a daily basis. Using a chair for sitting. Picking up grocery.

If you enjoy walking do it. If you enjoy swimming do it. If you enjoy any type of movement do it. Doing anything is always better than doing nothing. Don’t increase your calories in…change them, maybe…if they are unhealthy.

If you make fitness work at first you will never stick with it.
Have fun and you will want more. More will require energy, movement energizes you. Just start, find something you want to continue with and the why that you want to continue for.

What decade were you in when you started this? Im older than you and my knees are challenged. Where to start for someone into menopause?

  8. @Maariu01 on November 19, 2023 at 3:15 am

Thanks for the videos you are inspiration to us all
i am looking at starting this type of training because i know it works ive gotten results years ago doing body weight, karate and HIT training now i need to try something new

  9. @SomeGuyYouLove on December 3, 2023 at 10:07 pm

I get how you feel. Ive had more body dysmorphia than I ever did before working out regularly. Goals have been the only thing to keep me motivated enough to give it my all everyday and to branch out and try new things(Aerial Acro, rock climbing, free running). Nothing has given me a greater high than crushing a sub-5 mile sprint. Goals set for 2024 are a sub-20 5k and sub-45 10k!

It’s not the losing weight that makes you happy. It’s the realization that you are changing, that you can change.

  13. @moneyfornothing3264 on December 17, 2023 at 9:54 am

You were so beautiful when you started. I like you then, and I like you now. ❤

Losing weight won’t make you happy, but it will help you avoid things that can make you unhappy.
