I just laughed and said YES when you mentioned the dog waking you up. Then I told Ruby she’s making me fat and she’s gotta sleep somewhere else, Dr Berg said so lol.

    • @victorsuarez2954 on March 8, 2024 at 2:10 am

I laughed at comfortable mattress, and sleep at 9pm, truck driver here, trying my best anyway 👍🏻👍🏻

    • @jodyhakala247 on March 8, 2024 at 5:00 pm

I’ve had multiple clients come and get a massage and their back is messed up and they’re like oh it’s been like that for a long time we found out it’s from the dog they don’t wanna roll over on the dog they sleep in a weird crooked position get massages have to dog boundaries.

Goodnight and Good Luck, Dr Berg !!!

  3. @Ginabina76 on March 7, 2024 at 9:52 pm

I lost 131lbs and I swear changing bedtimes to asleep by 930 up at 5am had something to do with it besides changing how I ate.

    • @SammytheStampede on March 7, 2024 at 11:32 pm

I wish I could stay in bed until 5am…😢😊

    • @Ginabina76 on March 7, 2024 at 11:45 pm

@@SammytheStampede thats the 1st time I ever got a response like that! Everyone usually is like GAAAAWD why so early you only have 3 teen boys still home… Cause I like to be up before all my hellions and have a workout, shower, and a peacefully drank cup of coffee in me before the real fun begins. Lol

    • @hanaezra9452 on March 8, 2024 at 4:44 am

      @@Ginabina76lol 😆 true

    • @millennialodyssey5956 on March 8, 2024 at 6:49 am

See that’s the thing. I went to bed at 10:30 pm and got up at 8:30 am and I lost weight from that too and had a ton more energy. Made a huge difference!

    • @setapartaay925 on March 8, 2024 at 2:26 pm

Same!! My bedtime is 8:45 and I get up like 5:45 or 6, depending on what time my husband has to go to work. Absolutely LOVE it 😊

  4. @eleonoraferraritioli8991 on March 7, 2024 at 10:03 pm

I’d love to be able to do that! Im a flight attendant, some days i wake up at 3.30am, other days i go to sleep at 2.30am and 99% of hotels i stay at don’t have windows you can open so no fresh air for days on..😢

    • @Mr-pn2eh on March 8, 2024 at 12:32 am

Don’t worry just trust Jesus Christ as your lord and savior and he will take care of you.

Plus try finding a new job

  5. @JenniferoftheSea on March 7, 2024 at 10:22 pm

Not just fido in the bed…My cats gallop around the house at night and make lots of noise.

    • @jeanagoben504 on March 8, 2024 at 2:22 am

My 2 cats stay right up next to me on each side all night every night.

  6. @user-dv4yx7il7l on March 7, 2024 at 10:27 pm

    Full body workout while I’m sleeping I gotta try this tonight 🛌 😴 💤 🏃‍♂️ 💤

    • @AdamSmith-eh2qk on March 7, 2024 at 11:11 pm

Full body workout, in bed, definitely stimulates “human growth hormone”

  8. @specialk9999 on March 7, 2024 at 11:44 pm

I don’t need to lose weight but I’ve never been able to sleep more than 7 hours. 6 hours is when I usually just wake up.

  9. @cedricmarch2159 on March 7, 2024 at 11:48 pm

    Can’t sleep
Till 6 I gotta get up and pray at 3 spiritual walfare🙏🏾🙌🏾

    • @jameswood231 on March 8, 2024 at 5:33 am

Amen!!! Standing in the Gap. Spiritual Warfare!!!🙏🔥🔥🔥🕊️

  10. @MarieWilliams027 on March 7, 2024 at 11:52 pm

Good quality sleep is so important. Thanks, Dr Berg 💙🌜

    • @Drberg on March 8, 2024 at 12:32 pm

      Glad to help!

  11. @dothvarter on March 8, 2024 at 12:00 am

Another tip is to lay off sugary and salty foods at night, as there were studies where eating them before bed delayed hypnagogia and increased awakenings. There was another study where taking a magnesium supplement before bed improved sleep.

    • @pamelatimbush3762 on March 8, 2024 at 5:36 pm

Magnesium definitely helps with sleep and B1 I recently found out does too.

  12. @alyssajordan777 on March 8, 2024 at 12:29 am

That’s crazy! That’s literally what I’m doing and I didn’t even know it was that beneficial lol. I just did it because it was easier on me than working out daily. I also have always slept in a cold room and I normally lay down around 7:30-8:00 and wake up about 6:30. Glad to to know I’m on the right track!

  13. @blaakrose on March 8, 2024 at 12:31 am

Not everyone can go to bed at that time. I get home by midnight from my job.

    • @Jennifer-gr7hn on March 8, 2024 at 5:05 am

yup, shift work ruined my life and actually ended it…however, when I survived, I knew I had to make changes…not many, but this was a HUGE one. I was starting before sunrise and after 16 hours of high stress working healthcare, I was coming home well after sunset. Yup! However we can’t expect people to be talking to “us”…this is a good general rule 😉 We have choices…not many, not all the time, but my death made me have to choose healthier. Having ‘lunch’ at 2am was horrible.

    • @Joao-ur7ey on March 8, 2024 at 11:42 am

Me too, but this is kinda irrelevant bro. The advice is still solid. The best quality sleep I had was when I would sleep around 9pm. This is the optimal way.

If you can’t do it, like me, then just sleep the earlier you can after leaving the job and make that consistent.

  14. @Hoosiercowgirl on March 8, 2024 at 1:28 am

You lost me when you said put the dog somewhere else. 😂

  15. @user-xl4hu3xg7r on March 8, 2024 at 1:30 am

So true, uninterrupted sleep is a game changer!

  16. @bonitajolie9341 on March 8, 2024 at 2:44 am

#4 – STOP EATING COOKIES BEFORE BED!! 😊

I’m appreciative that you don’t focus solely on weight loss in your posts, Dr. Berg. Some of us lost our weight a long time ago, thanks to you.

  19. @brandym2099 on March 8, 2024 at 3:42 am

I can’t remember the last time I went to bed at 9:30. It’s hard for me to go to bed early.

  20. @here_for_the on March 8, 2024 at 1:17 pm

Your making a real difference w/great educational ideas for us, Dr. Berg!
