So, I’ve got number 3 down pat, but I use regular salt on my food. I eat more than I should, because I’m trying to recover from injuries and am eating addictional nutrients, like collagen 🍚, real vitamin 🍋 C, 🦪 oyster, plant 🌵 🥩 protein, etc.. When I do start to really fast, it will be days long, not hours. I have a friend who fasts two full days a week and is in great health.

Trace elements are needed for a balanced system, things didn’t work until switching everything to sea salt.

Please warn people about Rapid Refeeding Syndrome, though…My brother is still having trouble getting the resultant edema down now. His weight is perfect for his height now, but his calf measurements swelled up by 3 inches each and his ankles went up by 1 inch each. After he finished several days of fasting, he ate so much that he regained 10 pounds in only two days and suddenly got edema for the first time ever in his life. Apparently, the rapid refeeding syndrome causes the same thing to happen to people who are recovering from Anorexia Nervosa if they’re not very careful about rebuilding their daily caloric intake gradually – starting at only half the daily calories that their body needs to maintain their ideal weight.

Sweetheart, this channel is not for those with mental health conditions, which obviously your brother suffered. Most normal people do not gourge themselves and practice common sense. Counseling should be untaken with any extreme unhealthy habits.

    So, so true!!

I list 12 lbs in my first week. By the end of the month, I lost 22 lbs. Control carbs. It’s way more important than watching or counting calories. Reduce sugars and be physically active, exercise, and do fasting

    • @Drberg on February 27, 2024 at 1:43 am

Good job. Keep up the good work!

    • @BlindmenLT on February 27, 2024 at 4:28 am

@Drberg im working nights sleeping at day-time is it still effective?

    • @thatchicktoy on February 27, 2024 at 11:33 am

@deejay6419 Which fasting schedule did you follow?

    • @jsstar76 on February 27, 2024 at 3:28 pm

Sorry but you don’t need an expert to tell you it’s unhealthy losing 12 pounds in 7 days unless it’s more fluid loss. Lose it that fast, you’ll gain it all back just as quickly.

    • @DeionSr. on February 27, 2024 at 6:45 pm

@jsstar76 not true, if you continually cut those carbs and stay active you can’t gain it back. People who gain it back have no discipline and definitely went back to eating like crap. I know cause I’ve been there. Was fat 80+% of my life

  9. @222Hair on February 27, 2024 at 1:18 am

Great tips! Salt was a big one for me 🙌🏻

    • @davidcatlin1970 on February 27, 2024 at 3:20 pm

@@DrbergYES! Thank you for making salt front and center! I had the most miserable month of my life, not sleeping after getting serious about keto! Your videos helped very much for having good information, but as someone who has always freely salted my food to taste, when doing OMAD, I just didn’t get enough salt!
So again thanks for getting this information out there!

    • @222Hair on February 27, 2024 at 4:32 pm

@@davidcatlin1970 also potassium, and magnesium along with that salt.

Thanks Dr Burg! I was very skeptical but now a year later I am a believer still cutting and trying to stay on top of less sugar and carbs.
I often slip after having desserts and sugar for 60 years but I appreciate all your teaching research and information 🎉🎉🎉😊

  12. @museme9767 on February 27, 2024 at 4:12 am
