    • @Civic. on October 26, 2023 at 12:47 am

It’s actually terrible because Dr Berg has got Vitamin D wrong completely here. Vitamin D deficiency is actually an indicator of a Magnesium deficiency. Taking more vitamin D will actually make the Magnesium deficiency worse so can’t meaningfully increase vitamin D levels. It’s Dr Berg’s lack of understanding on this matter that has him recommending super doses of vitamin D but this could actually be damaging people’s health. Most of the symptoms in the video are directly related to a Magnesium deficiency not a Vitamin D deficiency, it just seems like it’s vitamin D because low magnesium causes low vitamin D. The fix is to first fix your magnesium deficiency. Any Vitamin D video that doesn’t focus on Magnesium is potentially harmful and not in the interest of optimal health.

    • @daphneraven6745 on October 28, 2023 at 2:48 pm

@@myjourney703 : It does, but not everybody makes vitamin D in their skin equally. So, a redhead (with very light skin) has fewer layers of skin to contain melanin, and less melanin in each layer,so that the sunlight’s uv rays penetrate more easily and more vitamin D is made in a shorter amount of time. Her best friend goes outside and spends as much time doing the same activities with her, with darker skin tends to have more layers of skin, and each layer has more pigment in it, which filters out the sunlight. So unlike her redheaded body, the dark skinned friend makes far less vitamin D, but for her there’s an upside to the darker skin leading less uv in: She’s far less likely to end up with malignant melanoma.

So the redheaded buddy ends up having to wear more sunscreen, and the dark skinned friend could benefit from vitamin D3 supplements.

That’s important to know, especially if you have very dark skin.

Hello Dr Berg, thank you very much for your growth boost tipps. Because im not the tallest guy, i was concerned about the development of my kids and bumped into your videos inclunding growth boost.

Since end of january i tried to follow your tipps as close as possible, and also forced my kids to eat healthy stuff, such as scrambled eggs or paprika, because they refuesd to eat those things since infancy and also threw up, caused by not being used to it, being forced and not getting their will. Now they eat it regulary. Still with a slight distaste, but they accept it now.

My just turned 11y old daughter made 8cm and is now 150cm and my just turned 6y boy made approx. 6.5cm and is now at 118,5cm. Their “rapid” growth has also been recognized by others.
