I love all these foods. But I just got into Korean sweet potatoes. I absolutely love them and I feel like it’s a great way to eat healthy and satisfy my sweet tooth 😋
Those are the best❣️ I just can’t stand the neon orange ones.
You’re looking lovely, fit, & healthy. I adore all the same foods you featured. I’ve been vegan since 2020, vegetarian for years before that. I rarely get sick, also. Thank you for sharing! 🥑🍠
Thank you! Happy to hear you are thriving too!
Thank you so much for both your creative recipes – and – your simple ways of preparing these wonderful foods!
And thank you for watching!!
Yay!! Good to know about beets and instant pot! Started loving beets like three years ago but they always seemed so complicated to make!
I’ve always wanted to like the taste of sweet potatoes more than I do, and recently I discovered purple sweet potatoes and that sealed the deal! So good, and so pretty too.
Love it! Which purple variety? Okinawan (greyish skin, bright purple inside)??
I would NEVER have thought i would be a mushroom person, but i literally crave them now! I used to think they were so gross! My tastes have certainly made a turn for the better🍻
Love this! And you are absolutely GLOWING. Thank you for sharing all your recipes with us ❤
Doing veganuary next month and never thought about getting a steam basket for my pressure cooker. Buying one right now!
What a great video as always! Thanks a lot! 🙏🏻💚
I am so happy for you that your check up was perfect. ❤️
You are my reason why I bought an airfryer 😅 I also love these foods and eat them in different ways. It’s really important to eat different foods in different ways, not always that easy. I also have a steamer which I really love.
Big hug and lovely greetings from Germany! 😍🇩🇪
Dankeschön!❤️ I can’t live without my air fryer, haha. The tools really do help in the kitchen!
@@SweetPotatoSoul Aww! Danke! 😍 Haha, I can imagine. For me now the same 🙂
Hi. You can tell even your mental health is extremely healthy. You present as a happy person. That’s half the battle right there! I’m 63. Never sick. Vegan for 7 years. Mostly vegetarian before that.
Great video. Lots of tips!
Awesome!! I’ve been vegan for almost 8 years and at 42 years old I am much healthier. I went from 339 pounds to 196 pounds. Plant based saved my life. Thanks for sharing this video. You look super healthy.
Wow! Congrats on your vegan success!
@@SweetPotatoSoul thanks so much. I really appreciate it. Congrats on your 12 year vegan journey as well. GOD bless you and your family.
I love, love, love lentils and sweet potatoes. I eat them at least 3-4 times a week. They are my go to for soups and stews as well, along with butternut squash. Thanks for sharing! I’m so excited to try the recipes.
Oh wow! I’ve been fully vegan for almost 8 years. Actually, you were one of my early YouTube follows to help me learn how to prepare more plant-based foods.
Have you tried growing your own sweet potatoes? This year was my first year and I had pretty good success. I’m hoping to knock it out of the ballpark next year. Beets and carrots are easy to grow and I have successfully done so for the past two or three years. Nothing beats homegrown!!
Good luck and I wish you further blessings as your channel and business continue to grow!!
I hope to do better with growing all three of those this year. Beets are always small and carrots give me the blues in the garden!! 😂 happening gardening and improved health to you ❤
I haven’t grown my own, but I totally need to, it’s so easy!! Thanks for your kind words 💕
Thank you so much, what a positive video! You look gorgeous also 😊 I’ve been a vegan for a few years and it had such an incredible impact on my mood and well-being. Now I need to implement beets in my diet haha, but I agree that lentils are absolutely amazing!!
Oh Wow! This is amazing. I have been “back sliding” since Covid. No more excuses. I am so exciting about my vegan life!
You got this!
Several years ago, I learned that vitamin A is more bioavailable when paired with unsaturated fat. So I had the idea to mash roasted sweet potatoes together with avocados. I like to put fresh thyme into the mash. The sweet potato can be roasted ahead, but I only combine as much as needed at the time since the avocado will turn brown and watery (especially if it’s reheated). Beets go perfectly with this. I cube them small and cook them in the oven at the same time as the sweet potatoes. I don’t oil the beets, I cover them so they don’t dry out during the long roast. I like to serve a blend of brown and wild rice, which I prefer to mix together with the beets on my plate. I’d usually have a kale salad along with all this, as well as something like tofu or tempeh. Also, I’ve recently started making a stew in the style of beef stew that includes mushrooms and lentils. I’ve been thinking about writing a cookbook. I’ve always been a writer and a cook, so I don’t have a good excuse not to do it. I’m feeling inspired by you and other creators. It’s fantastic the way you just went for it! Btw, I’m a longtime subscriber and fellow southerner. Hello from Alabama. 🙂
I cannot wait to try the Chili Lime Glazed Sweet Potatoes….Ingredients in my cart for next week’s meals!!
I like to cook lentils in my pressure cooker with garlic, and then immersion blend them at the end. Then later whenever I’m having vegetable soup, I take the lent8ls out and scoop a half cup into the soup and stir. It makes creamy soup with even more nutrients. And they are dirt cheap when you buy dry.
Great tip!
Great job Jenne! I’ve been subscribed to you channel for some years now and it never gets old! Thank you for sharing. 🙂
You’re very inspirational. I’m not vegan but my goal is to incorporate more vegan meals. I just made your lentil tacos from another video. So delicious!!!! I’ve had issues with my skin and stomach, I found dairy was a huge factor contributing to my acne. I’m 29, hoping to make some changes and have skin as beautiful and smooth as yours haha. Many blessings to you.
