Hello Health Champions!
Good morning Health Champion @PijanySmok 😄
😊Hello Champion!👍🍀☀️
❤
@@drekbergyou are olimpic champion also 😊
Hello 😊
It’s amazing that people still believe and even push the idea that if you eat fat that fat goes directly into stored fat making your body fat. So archaic yet it is perpetuated. When I discussed with my doctor how my diet has made me feel like 21 again and I’m 60 now, and how all my blood markers are the best they’re ever been, lost 40 lbs because of diet and lifestyle change, her eyes glazed over. It was like I was speaking Chinese.
Congratulations on your Health Champion status!!! I’m 53 and have the same experience. Here’s my “ignorant medical doctor” story. My red blood cells are living too long for the A1C test to be valid, but I didn’t know that when I got my blood work and FREAKED OUT at an A1C of 6.0. I called my doc in a panic and said, sincerely, there is NO WAY I’m prediabetic if I’m fasting days at a time every month, IF every day, and eating a whole, clean, low carb diet (and have been for going on 3 years). Instead of saying that my red blood cell average lifespan is throwing it off, he said, “It’s genetic, you can’t do anything about it.” I don’t even HAVE a problem in the first place let alone something that “is a genetic problem.” ARGH! Glad I learned from YT and, coincidently, on the radio (?!), just a few weeks later.
@@allhimwithme5115 Can you say a bit more about “blood cell average lifespan” please?
@@SpamMouse A1C is measured by how many markers sugar has left on the cells by bumping into them in the bloodstream. The range, therefore, is based on the average lifespan of the red blood cells. If you are causing all your cells to live longer and healthier lives by fasting and eating well they have more time to accumulate more “hits” that are then reported in the A1C making it seem “elevated.”
The doctor assumed my A1C was high due to more _sugar_ in my blood, but it was high because even though there’s _less_ sugar to bump into the cells, the cells have more _time_ to collect hits that are reported in the test.
Red blood cells live an average of 120 days so they have 120 days, generally, to collect hits by sugar (the 3 months the A1C covers for most people). That’s the time range of the A1C test, therefore. But, if you are ridiculously healthy your blood cells live longer so the range of the test should be, say, 150 days or whatever, to then put the number back down where it would be if blood sugar average were the only factor.
@@allhimwithme5115 thanks for the explanation
@@allhimwithme5115 Interesting, thank you for the text. Is there a blood-cell-age test? I asked a similar question on getting an A1C test after a blood donation as it will affect red-cell-counts thus blood -sugar averages.
The reason why carbs are pushed so much is because they’re addictive and cheap to produce in industrial quantities, making it easier to hide inflation.
Indeed, they were required to feed the globe post WWII.
@SpamMouse cheap caloric and addictive. Keeps people “fed” and buying more
And for billions of dollars.
Yes
That’s hardly a secret. Been that way for decades. Have you been living in the moon?
This video is incredible. I love listening and learning.
I live in a culture where rice, breads and cakes are pushed forward onto everyone. Dramatically reducing my carbs and eliminating sugars (cakes, etc) gave me a six pack. I’m eating more eggs and meats than I use to.
I grew up with mostly homemade desserts every night. I didn’t stop until just over 2 years ago but recently started treating myself to peanut butter cups and chocolate on the weekends and even during the week. I over did it and my fingers feel the stiffness and tingling and numbness in my arms. So , once again I have to have my willpower back and stay away from the sugar. I’m 65, 5’10” 185 and lift weights and look like a bodybuilder and I lost 25 pounds when I got off of the desserts. The candy didn’t seem to affect my weight just the arthritis in my hands. And I too can see my abs again after losing that 25 pounds. I also eat eggs , meat and I like milk . I don’t eat much of anything else no more.
@@Musicman-y7vInteresting, I have been cheating a little bit, and now wake up with pins and needles in my arms and fingers. And can feel a bit of pain in one finger like it has arthritis, I’m 71 and i find I don’t have the mind power to not eat carbs now and then.
@@georgemooyman7155 I only have had this problem because I was just treating myself to too much Reese’s peanut butter cups and chocolate bars and I mean really over doing it especially this last weekend. I noticed the arthritis awhile back probably when I started to eat the candy and then I really went overboard. So I’m praying that in a month or so I will notice the arthritis go away. And I’ve seen videos on YouTube about this problem. I just wasn’t doing it in … MODERATION.
Getting healthier one Friday video at a time.
Hope you have a great weekend Dr Ekberg and team. 👍

I’ve been on Healthy Keto and Carnivor for 5 years now. I haven’t exercised in over a year and I eat over 5000 calories every day in my OMAD meal and my weights hasn’t changed in 4 months.
I feel super good and healthy.
5 years ago I was 109 kilos being 174 centimeters tall, I did dirty keto for 2 months and my weight dropped to 79 Kilos.
I have been doing prolonged fasting, Healthy Keto and Carnivor and at the age of 26 I feel like my body is even younger than 16.
All my diseases are gone and I don’t believe in shopkeepers (AKA doctors.)
What do you eat once a day to get 5000 calories into you?
Highlights:
1. Importance of Healthy Fats: Healthy fats are essential for skin hydration, hormone production, and brain health.
2. Consequences of Low Fat Intake: Insufficient fat can lead to dry skin, hormonal imbalances, cognitive decline, and weakened immune function.
3.Fats and Brain Function: Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) are vital for cognitive health, influencing memory, mood, and overall brain performance.
4. Sources of Healthy Fats: Important sources include meat, fish, eggs, avocados, and nuts, with specific recommendations for fatty fish and high-quality oils.
5.Revising Dietary Guidelines: The speaker critiques the USDA’s guidelines, advocating for a higher percentage of dietary fats and lower carbohydrates based on recent findings.
6. Fat vs. Carbs: The video emphasizes that fats should be the primary fuel source for energy, rather than carbohydrates, which can lead to energy crashes.
7. Individualized Nutritional Needs: The necessity for personalized dietary plans is highlighted, encouraging experimentation with fat and carb ratios based on individual health goals.
Enjoy!
Thank you🙏🙏

At 66 I shudder to think about the amount of Parkay Margarine and sugar I ingested growing up! I was the family baker and of course ate a ton of what I made and developed a sugar addiction of major proportions. Got off sugar 3 yrs ago and feel SO much better.
Thanks for all these wonderfully informative videos!
So happy to hear you are eating more with health in mind. Fellow sugar addict here. Ahhhhh…sugar! ‘It’s like a beautiful woman with a terrible personality’ ….is how I describe it, LOL!
Yes, but you have to keep in mind that ANY carb, other than fibre, is changed to glucose by the body. So cutting out added sugar alone will not give you the optimal level of health, though it is an improvement. There are so many foods that are touted as ‘healthy’ but really aren’t, like all the grains, which include bread, pasta, rice, quinoa etc, seed oils, starchy vegetables.
me too, 🙂 father quit butter and started Parkay and died at 61
Same… buttercream frosting with hydrogenated crisco was my favorite 🤦🏻♀️
Addiction is right! I had a “sweet tooth” as a kid, but within reason. Today it’s hard to find food that’s not sweetened! Bread was called “the staff of life” once, but now it’s like cake. Foods that should be savory, like french fries are sweetened. Yogurt is processed to remove all the good things and replace them with sugar. It’s like that Monty Python “Spam” sketch, but with sugar. You can’t get a food without sugar, only with “a little” sugar.
Top notch as always Dr Ekberg. You are truly transforming lives and exposing the lies of the so called “experts” regarding their so-called guidelines. I commented a fairly lengthy post on your intermittent fasting video stating that I had come to realise that IF is a lifestyle and not a quick fix. I also stated that while I personally have lost more weight on the 36hr fasting protocol, I had to revert back to 18/6 for domestic harmony and sustainability but will still do a monthly 36-48 to get “ fat adapted” which I currently am not. A shout out to all here swimming upstream against (apparently) all the doctors and healthcare professionals- let us pray for enlightenment and soon 🇮🇪
U can always feign ur stomach feels off at ur 1 meal with ur spouse who thinks you’ll die w/o eating 6x a day.
I’ve even said oh I just ate. I carry my pantry & fridge w/me—my fat!
Ppl freak out at someone getting healthy but someone embarking on injury (ill-health) to their body—lowfat/vegan/pescatarian etc, is praised! 🤦♀️
Hey sister in Yeshua! Great to find you here! We are believers in King Yeshua Our Messiah here in Ireland! So AMAZING to see your YT handle! All praise to him, understanding how my body actually works has given me great happiness! Be blessed!!
I went carnivore 6 months ago and am never going back. I eat animal products that are close to a 1:1 fat/protein ratio and feel great
lol, this is recipe for rabbit starvation and kidney injury. Imagine consuming 1500 kcals of protein a day.
Lol.. I was in the hospital just last week.. had to have a cardiac Stent placed. The nutritionist came in and (schooled) me on my diet. She told me I had to get at least 3 carbs per meals.. a slice of bread. A glass of milk and a fruit. I listened to her. But I’m not doing it. I’ve followed THAT diet since my first heart attack haven’t lost a pound. Then I found you. I’ve lost 22 pounds.. and yes I did have to go to the hospital.. but, we are in the middle of a move too so.. its apples and oranges:-)
You’ve also eaten crappy for decades
Consequences can’t be ignored. Much damage is done.
As u keep on with correct eating u will heal more n more
Let’s hope u have corrected ur diet in time. Sometimes it’s just too much damage done already.
The Nutritionist was educated by the Failed system all sponsored by Big Pharma. He or she will keep going in their career poisoning one patient at a time with misinformation.
I started my Low Carb(ish) lifestyle in January. I’ve had RSV and the flu but I have not given up. I’m hoping that these changes will prevent future sicknesses. So far I’ve lost 20 pounds, and feel much more better. I wonder if this lifestyle is why the whites of my eyes are whiter… thank you Dr. Ekberg for your instructions in a way that I can understand!
Hi Amy your beautiful 😍
Wow! I’ve been watching Dr. Ekberg’s videos for years and this is by far the most amazng one he’s done yet. He’s on fire for calling out big food and the captured government regulatory agencies for their crimes against humanity. My respect for him just went up 1,000 percent. Keep it up Dr. Ekberg.
That’s exactely what I was about to write myself ! Well done Dr Ekberg for this crime against humanity claim !👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I live in grain country. The reason they tell you to eat more carbohydrates,MONEY! Not health!
Also the longest living, healthiest people anywhere always eat a high carb, low protein diet!
HMMMMM!!!!!!!!
Same here. The humidity in the midwest is caused by corn, which needs constant irrigation because it evaporates water so fast. Ethanol must make up at least 10% of gasoline to satisfy grain lobbyists. And the dairy industry promotes lowfat and skim milk not for health, but because they’re taking milkfat out to produce more heavy cream and make more profit. Corn oil is the corn lobby again, and all of the liquid vegetable oils are easier to ship and package, compared to animal shortening. And high-fructose corn sweetener has been the thing replacing it all. It’s all marketing, not health!
@ I so much know and agree! Educating the public is going to be tough. So many generations have been sold lies on what is healthy. My parents thought they were feeding us healthy foods because of advertising and media supporting corporate food industries. Always FDA approved. How ironic!
@kt6332
Meat and milk are not suited for human consumption!
@ I agree on the milk but not meat. I know this through personal experience.
I’ve always thought fats were something to avoid, but after watching this video, I have a whole new perspective. Thank you for changing the way I view health! 🥥
I love to Read the comments on how people are getting healthier from doing fasting and keto , thank goodness for having YouTube❤
